Hazardous waste includes:

  • TVs
  • Computer monitors
  • Fridges/freezers
  • Engine oil
  • Flourescent tubes
  • Asbestos

 

 

If your business produces these types of waste items you are legally responsible for the disposal of them and need to check that the waste disposal company you use is registered to carry hazardous waste. We are unable to collect any hazardous waste as part of our trade waste service.

The Environment Agency has further guidance on hazardous waste regulations. For a list of companies who can provide you with a removal service please visit WasteAware.
