We are not able to give out extra green bins, however garden waste sacks are available to put
out alongside your green bin. The paper sacks can be bought from the same outlets as the
compostable bags above - they are 50p each.

The sacks are 75 litres and can be filled with any extra garden waste that won't fit in your green
bin. You can put a maximum of three bags out with your green bin on collection day.

Welcome to Hertsmere Borough Council’s new website. In February this website will replace the existing www.hertsmere.gov.uk site as the best place to find information about Hertsmere and the services it offers.

Until then, you can explore the website by using this experimental trial (‘beta’) version.

PLEASE BE AWARE – this is a test website. It may contain inaccuracies or be misleading and links may not work. You should not use this site to contact us. Our old website remains the official website for Hertsmere until the end of February.
