Health walks

Health Walk

Fancy starting the New Year with a health kick?  Why not try out the health walking scheme - a countywide programme of free, led walks, aimed to promote walking and encourage more people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to get outdoors, get more active and reap the benefits.

There are a varied number and grade of walks, which operate each week from regular meeting points in Borehamwood, Bushey, Potters Bar and Radlett. These popular walks, led by a growing number of friendly volunteer walk leaders, offer many different routes through towns, parks and countryside and the opportunity for a coffee afterwards. Best of all it's free!

See the current health walks timetable, which contains all the information you need about what to wear and where to meet.

Please note: All events are subject to weather conditions on the day. If in doubt, please call beforehand.
Entry to all events is free unless otherwise stated.

Welcome to Hertsmere Borough Council’s new website. In February this website will replace the existing www.hertsmere.gov.uk site as the best place to find information about Hertsmere and the services it offers.

Until then, you can explore the website by using this experimental trial (‘beta’) version.

PLEASE BE AWARE – this is a test website. It may contain inaccuracies or be misleading and links may not work. You should not use this site to contact us. Our old website remains the official website for Hertsmere until the end of February.
