Proposed new parking schemes

Last Modified June 04, 2013

We consider a number of new parking schemes each year. You can see what new schemes are currently proposed in this section.

Formal notices of the proposed parking schemes are advertised in local newspapers and on lampposts in the streets concerned, as well as being available below.

All schemes are subject to consultation, whether informal or formal. You are welcome to comment on any of the proposals during the dates shown on each of the notices below.

Documents giving more detailed particulars of each order can also be inspected at our main civic offices in Borehamwood. If you have a general enquiry relating to any of the proposals, contact Andy Chittenden, Senior Traffic Engineer at andrew.chittenden@hertsmere.gov.uk or telephone 020 8207 2277.

Parking Management Strategy

Our Parking Management Strategy is a document agreed by councillors as a guide for councillors and officers when considering new parking controls or amendments to existing parking controls.

Welcome to Hertsmere Borough Council’s new website. In February this website will replace the existing www.hertsmere.gov.uk site as the best place to find information about Hertsmere and the services it offers.

Until then, you can explore the website by using this experimental trial (‘beta’) version.

PLEASE BE AWARE – this is a test website. It may contain inaccuracies or be misleading and links may not work. You should not use this site to contact us. Our old website remains the official website for Hertsmere until the end of February.
