How can I park within a CPZ with a Disabled Badge?

Hertsmere Traffic Orders do not allow disabled badge holders to park in permit bays. Currently though we do allow some discretion and disabled badge holders can park in permit bays for a maximum of three hours, but the clock on the badge must be displayed.

 

How can I park outside a CPZ with a Disabled Badge?

You can park on yellow lines, without a loading ban, with your disabled badge for a maximum of three hours. But you must display and set your clock and you cannot return within one hour. You can also park for free where there is pay and display or if you park in an on street disabled bay.

 

How can I park in a Disabled Bay?

You can park for an unlimited amount of time in a disabled bay if there is no time limit on the sign. Where there is a time limit on the sign, usually on High Streets, you are restricted to this time and must display your clock.

 

How can I park within a Car Park with a Disabled Badge?

You can park for free, for an unlimited amount of time, within Hertsmere car parks but you must display your blue badge.
