Are you facing unemployment? Do you want to get back into work? Do you need advice on debt or mortgages? Do you want to learn new skills? Are you seeking help to start up a new business?
If your answer is yes to any of these questions, make sure you catch the advice bus which will be in Tesco car park in Borehamwood on Friday, 6 March, from 9am to 5pm.
A host of organisations including the Citizens Advice Bureau, Business Link, Job Centre Plus, Worknet and Oaklands College will be on board the bus to offer free and confidential advice and help with jobs and finances.
Leader of the Council Morris Bright said: "This is an important opportunity for residents in Elstree and Borehamwood and the rest of the Borough to get some of the help and advice they need in this difficult economic climate.
"The organisations involved offer help and advice on a daily basis but this event will bring them all together to form a one stop shop for those seeking help with jobs and finances."
Hertsmere Borough Council is coordinating this event in conjunction with Hertsmere Together, the borough's Local Strategic Partnership, which represents public, private, voluntary and community sectors. The group works to improve the quality of life for people living and working in Hertsmere.
The advice bus is open to all.
