Safer streets

Working in partnership to make Hertsmere safer.

The Safer streets project will offer residents free security checks, crime prevention advice, free fire risk assessments and installation of smoke alarms, free advice on giving up smoking and healthy living and information on voluntary services.

Representatives from the agencies involved will be calling on residents to offer advice to help make their homes safer.

Postcards  will be delivered to those homes prior to being visited by the Safer streets team.

Residents that are visited by the Safer Streets team will also receive an information booklet which includes details of local services and useful contacts.
