Cemeteries
Allum Lane Cemetery
Hertsmere manages one cemetery in the Borough: Allum Lane Cemetery, Borehamwood
For Allum Lane Cemetery we are responsible for the maintenance, administration and record keeping. Including the recently opened memorial garden.
Other cemeteries in the Borough
There are four other cemeteries in the Borough:
- St. James Cemetery, Bushey
- Bushey Cemetery) (external link) - maintained by the United Synagogue Burial Society
- Shenleybury Cemetery (Closed Part),
- Shenley and Mutton Lane Cemetery, Potters Bar
For St. James Cemetery in Bushey, Shenleybury Cemetery (Closed Part) and Shenley and Mutton Lane Cemetery in Potters Bar we have some maintenance responsibilities, although we do not own the sites nor do we have any records relating to interments in them.
