Improving play in Moatfield park

Have you got an idea to improve the play facilities at Moatfield park in Bushey?
The play area is only currently suitable for children up to the age of eight and the council is interested in hearing from young people to see what improvements can be made to encourage older children to get involved.
Cllr Jean Heywood, portfolio holder for environment, explained: "We would like to extend the play area and add more challenging equipment for children who are older but obviously want them to tell us what it is they would like."
So, if you want to help shape your local play area, come along to the Moatfield on Wednesday 1 September from 11am to 2pm and tell us what you think. It’s a free event which will host Play Rangers, mobile BMX ramps and the police trailer with Wii equipment.
Just turn up: The Moatfield Recreation Ground, Bournehall Lane, Bushey. Subject to weather conditions on the day. Helmets will be provided and must be worn.
