Safety focus at Furzefield
01-Feb-2010 10:45:00
A team of crime busters will be at the Furzefield Centre car park off Mutton Lane on Saturday, 6 February, to listen to any community safety concerns local residents may have.
Representatives from Hertsmere Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership – which includes Hertsmere Borough Council and local police – will be on hand at a mobile police station from 10am to 1pm.
This 'Spotlight' event aims to give residents an opportunity to speak to organisations face-to-face about any issues such as anti-social behaviour, graffiti, flytipping or lighting.
Councillor John Donne, Portfolio Holder for Community Safety, said: "Local residents can use this opportunity to raise any concerns they have about the area and find out about crime prevention.
"There'll be lots of information and advice on offer so please take the time to drop by."
