Spotlight on Oakmere
09-Apr-2010 17:00:54
A team of crime busters will be at Oakmere Park car park in Potters Bar on Friday, 16 April, to listen to any community safety concerns local residents may have.
Representatives from Hertsmere Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership, which includes Hertsmere Borough Council, Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service and local police, will be on hand at a mobile police station from 2pm to 4pm.
This 'Spotlight' event aims to give residents a chance to speak to organisations face-to-face about any issues such as anti-social behaviour, graffiti, flytipping or street lighting.
Valerie Kane, Hertsmere Borough Council's Community Safety Officer, said: "Local residents can use this opportunity to raise any concerns they have about the area and find out about crime prevention.
"There'll be lots of information and advice on offer so please take the time to drop by."
