Spotlight on Shenley
17-Jun-2010 11:01:28
A team of crime-busters will be in Tesco car park, off Porters Park Drive, on Thursday 24 June, to listen to any local concerns about community safety.
Representatives from Hertsmere Community Safety Partnership (CSP), which includes Hertsmere Borough Council, Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service and local police, will be on hand from 2pm to 4pm.
This 'Spotlight' event aims to give residents a chance to speak to officers face-to-face about any issues such as anti-social behaviour, graffiti, fly-tipping or street lighting.
Councillor John Donne, Portfolio Holder for Community Safety, said: "Local residents can use this opportunity to raise any concerns they have about the area and find out about crime prevention.
"This event is all about us working with the community to make things better and encourage people to take pride in Hertsmere. There'll be lots of information and advice on offer so please take the time to drop by."
