The activities are open to young people aged from five to 11 and include arts, crafts and creative games as recommended by the Heart Foundation. As well as learning about model making, collage, 3D and drawing, the children will also experience the fun of a holiday play scheme environment.

The playscheme will be running at the following locations:

Sara Younger, Hertsmere’s Cultural Services Officer, said: “We have tried to make booking onto our half term creative programme as easy as possible. We surveyed parents and found that many found it hard to get through on our telephone booking lines, because our schemes are so popular.

"We've introduced a reservation form to make our playschemes more accessible to all families.

"Our half term programme is always very popular with young people in Hertsmere. We know our schemes are a real help to busy mums and dads, especially with our extended care facilities which run between 9am and 5pm at venues where there is demand.”

Telephone booking line for the February half term programme are open from 9am to 5pm on Thursday 25 January. Get in Quick!

Parents can book up to four places. To book please call our booking line on 020 8207 7801 or download the February half term leaflet, with reservation form from the Council website - www.hertsmere.gov.uk
