Parents are being reminded to book their children's places at an activity workshop happening on Friday 16 February in Borehamwood.

Hertsmere Borough Council has organised the one-day activity event to help out busy parents during the half term holiday.

Parents wanting to book their children onto the action packed creative arts programme this half term can fill in a reservation form which can be downloaded from the council's website or in the 'February Half Term Playscheme' leaflet.

The activities are open to young people aged from five to 11 and include arts, crafts and creative games as recommended by the Heart Foundation. As well as learning about model making, collage, 3D and drawing, the children will also experience the fun of a holiday play scheme environment.

The playscheme is taking place on Friday 16 February at Parkside School, Aycliffe Road, Borehamwood.

Sara Younger, Hertsmere’s Cultural Services Officer, said: “Our half term programme is always very popular with young people in Hertsmere. We know our schemes are a real help to busy mums and dads, especially with our extended care facilities which run between 9am and 5pm at venues where there is demand.”

To book please call on 020 8207 7568 or download the February half term leaflet, with reservation form from the council website - www.hertsmere.gov.uk
