Mango is the winner

Mango, a lemon pointer who scooped top prize in Hertsmere's annual dog show, is set to be officially presented with his prize.

Mayor and Mayoress Cllrs Martin and Jean Heywood will present Mango's owner Paul Keirn, from Edgware, with a portrait of his four-legged friend.

The portrait was painted by local artist Helen Cooksley from Bushey who donated the prize for free.

Mango won overall best in show at Hertsmere Borough Council's summer dog show.

Paul has not yet seen the finished portrait which will be presented at 10.30am on Monday 18th Septmber at the Council offices.
