Councillor Hannah David, portfolio holder with responsibility for economic development, said: "Hertsmere boasts having the highest number of on location filming days than any other Local Authority in the whole of the East of England. That's fantastic news for local people who are earning money by allowing their properties to be used, but also for the knock-on effect this has on the local economy.

"Those who come to film here need a huge range of services - from food and accommodation to florists, cleaning companies, wood suppliers, newspapers and taxis - and that means the community as a whole is benefiting."
