Local organisations will be coming together to hear what the future holds for the delivery of services to residents in Hertsmere.
Hertsmere Together is launching its revised Community Strategy and it's new website - www.hertsmeretogether.org - at Civic Offices in Borehamwood on Monday 18 September.
Hertsmere Together is Hertsmere’s Local Strategic Partnership and its membership is made up of key local organisations from the public, private, voluntary and community sectors.
Dave Ashlee, Head of Corporate Performance and Community Services, said: “The Community Strategy provides a long term vision for the future of Hertsmere and prioritises the most important issues facing the Borough. The strategy is used by local service providers as a framework to enable agencies to work together to tackle issues facing Hertsmere.
"In addition, the Hertsmere Together website provides details about the partnership and its work."
A representative from IDeA will speak about the increasingly important role the Government is placing on Local Strategic Partnerships and their role in deciding how services should be delivered to residents.
