Hertsmere housing strategy and action plan
Have your say and help to influence the future of housing in the borough.
Hertsmere's vision is:
To enable all residents of Hertsmere to have a decent affordable home which meets their needs and enhances their quality of life.
We have written a housing strategy and action plan so we can make progress over the next five years towards making that vision a reality.
We have set five priority areas within the strategy. They are:
- to maximise the delivery of new affordable homes
- to create socially inclusive, sustainable communities
- to improve the condition of privately owned homes
- to meet the needs of vulnerable groups
- to make best use of existing housing stock.
Within each priority area we have set ourselves a range of tasks to complete.
