The annual canvass is the annual audit of people who are eligible to vote in elections. The register is updated over the canvass period.

You are welcome to apply for a proxy application form if you are unable to go to your Polling Station on election day. A proxy is someone who will go to the polling station and vote with your authority on your behalf.
You can only vote in elections if your name is on the Register of Electors.
Each year the Council plans its spending for the following year.
This authority is required by law to protect the public funds it administers.
Local borough elections will be held in most wards in Hertsmere on Thursday 6th May and it is likely that the general election will be held on the same day.
