New year question time
04-Jan-2010 12:26:02
Have you got a question for the council? If so, send it in writing to us by midday on Monday 11 January 2010.
The first five questions received will be included in the agenda for the full council meeting on Wednesday 20 January and responded to at that meeting; any other questions will be included in the Information Digest and written answers provided.
Any resident of the borough or anyone who owns premises or a business in the borough may submit a question for consideration at a full council meeting. Please note that any related statements submitted with the question will not be included in the meeting agenda. All questions must include the name and address of the questioner.
Questions must relate to a matter within the council's remit but must not seek information which is about an individual or organisation or which is Data Act protected. Neither may questions relate to specific decisions taken or to be taken as part of the council's regulatory functions such as a licence or planning application.
Questions should be limited to one subject and if we receive a number of questions on the same topic we may merge them together. You will not have to physically ask your question at the meeting. The appropriate Executive councillor will provide a response at the meeting and a written copy of the answer will be given if you are present.
Questions should be addressed to:
