Question time for council
16-Aug-2010 12:22:54
Do you have a question you want to ask at the next full council meeting?
If this is the case, you need to get your question into the council in writing no later than midday on Wednesday 1 September.
The first five questions received will be included in the agenda and responded to at the council meeting on 15 September and any other questions will be included in the Information Digest and written answers provided.
Any Hertsmere resident or person that owns premises or a business in the borough may submit a question for consideration, although, any related statements submitted with the question will not be included in the meeting agenda.
Questions must relate to a matter within the council's remit but must not seek information which is about an individual or organisation or which is Data Act protected.
In addition - questions must not relate to specific decisions taken, or to be taken, as part of the council's regulatory functions, such as a licence application or a particular planning application.
Each question should be limited to one subject and if we receive a number of questions on the same topic we may compound them. You will not have to physically ask your question at the meeting as the appropriate Executive Councillor will provide a response at the meeting.
Questions for the council meeting on 15 September 2010 should be addressed to:
