Cllr Anne Swerling resigns

Anne Swerling has resigned as a ward councillor for Bushey Heath with immediate effect.
Hertsmere’s Chief Executive Donald Graham received a letter of resignation from Mrs Swerling on Monday 19 October. In it, she said: "My reason is purely personal and at this time my family must come first."
A by-election for her seat is expected and a date for this will be announced shortly.
Mrs Swerling was a Conservative councillor and was elected to Hertsmere Borough Council in May 2007.
