Cllr Jean Conway resigns

Jean Conway has resigned as a ward councillor for Bushey St James ward with immediate effect. Mrs Conway suffered an accident last year, the impact of which has prevented her from making the contribution she had wished to as a councillor.
Hertsmere’s Chief Executive Eden Lee, received a letter of resignation from Mrs Conway dated 12 January.
There will be a by-election for her seat in to coincide with the timing of the Borough elections in May.
Mrs Conway was a Conservative councillor and was elected to Hertsmere Borough Council in May 2006.
