Details of Councillors' allowances payments have been released for the financial year 2007 to 2008.
Councillors are paid an annual allowance of £5,150.04, plus additional allowances if they have special responsibilites, along with travel and subsistence.
The total paid for 2007/08 was £318,378.89.
