Essential information about council services

Despite the freezing conditions, officers have been working hard to ensure services are delivered wherever possible this week.

Waste crews have been out and about across the borough today, Friday, attempting to collect bins wherever possible. However it is inevitable that many locations will still be inaccessible for our vehicles and therefore any resident who did not have their green/brown bin and/or blue box collected on Wednesday, Thursday or by the end of today Friday, is advised to take them in and re-present them on your next scheduled collection day in a fortnight.

Next week we are planning for business as normal and residents are advised to leave out their black bin/boxes on their normal day ready for collection.

Civic Offices at Borehamwood, and the two area offices at Bushey and Potters Bar are expected to be open as normal and all 50 plus activities, which had been suspended this week, are expected to resume.

Our website and phone messages continue to be updated with the latest information.

We will update you further on Monday, following an assessment of the situation then. In the meantime, we thank you for your patience and support for our crews.
