Staff and councillors from Hertsmere Borough Council joined in a two-minute silence on Friday, 7 July to remember the victims of the London bombings.

The two minute silence was held by the flag poles outside Civic Offices in Elstree Way, Borehamwood.
Mayor and Mayoress Martin and Jean Heywood led the silent tribute.
Cllr Martin Heywood said: “Staff stopped for two minutes from noon on Friday to quietly pay respects to all those who lost their lives and to think of the families and friends they have left behind. This was just a small way of showing support and solidarity.”
