Severe weather - update to services

Following freezing temperatures overnight the following services have been affected today, Thursday 7 January.

Waste crews are currently assessing roads but at the moment are not collecting bins due to the poor road conditions. Crews are on standby and are hoping for a thaw to enable them to get out, but this situation will be assessed later today and we will update this website accordingly.

Street cleansing crews are out, emptying the public litter bins wherever possible across the borough.

While the Civic Offices in Borehamwood and the area office at Bushey are open, our area office at Potters Bar is closed.

All 50 plus activities are suspended.

Tonight’s Elstree and Borehamwood Planning Committee has been cancelled.
