Sewerage Undertaker

1) The Sewerage Undertaker for the Hertsmere BC area is currently Thames Water Utilities Ltd.

2) Ownership of house drainage is the same regardless of its use ie. foul water only, surface water only or both combined in the same pipe.

3) Inspection Chambers are usually the responsibility of whoever maintains the out going pipe run.

4) PLEASE NOTE:- Drain runs such as F-G above are still the responsibility of the Sewerage Undertaker or Houses 1, 2, 3 & 4 (depending on property age) even if the drain is under the Public Highway or land owned by a third party
