Christmas and New Year waste and recycling collections

Hertsmere's kerbside waste and recycling collections will change during the holiday period. At this time of year about 30% more rubbish is produced so please remember to reduce, reuse and recycle this Christmas.

*Please note your collections will be made on either of these days so please leave your bin/box out on the first day and take it in once it's been emptied.
Normal collections will resume on Monday 9 January.

Excess waste and recycling can be taken to a local recycling bank or a Household Waste Recycling Centre 
(HWRC) which are open every day except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day:
- Allum Lane, Elstree
- Cranborne Road, Potters Bar
