Areas of Radlett will be cleaned up following an operation by Hertsmere Community Safety Partnership.
Council and police officers joined forces at an Environmental Action Day (EAD) last week, and a Spotlight event in Watling Street.
Areas at the front and back of the shops were the main focus of the latest event and areas of graffiti and flytipping were identified, as well as general litter and a damaged staircase.
Cllr John Donne, portfolio holder for Community Safety, said: "We hold a number of action days throughout the year and they are a good way to identify issues like this which impact on the overall quality of an area.
“We then follow up these operations with Spotlight events where we go out in the community to give residents a chance to speak to us face-to-face about issues such as anti-social behaviour, graffiti, flytipping or street lighting.
"These events are all about us working with the community to make things better and encourage people to take pride in Hertsmere."
The Spotlight event on Tuesday saw officers speak to more than 30 people, giving them leaflets and advice about their local area.
Hertsmere Community Safety Partnership is made up of representatives from Hertsmere Borough Council, Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, Hertfordshire Constabulary and Police Authority, probation services and health.
