Bank holiday waste and recycling collections

Waste and recycling collections will 'slip a day' next week due to Bank Holiday Monday.

This means your collection day will be the day after it normally is:

• Monday 25 August - Tuesday 26
• Tuesday 26 - Wednesday 27
• Wednesday 27 - Thursday 28
• Thursday 28 - Friday 29
• Friday 29 - Saturday 30

Please remember to close the lids on your wheelie bins as they they will not be collected if they are not fully shut. 

We can take excess plastic and can recycling and paper recycling if it is put in carrier bags (not black sacks) and left by the side of the relevant boxes on the right day of collection.  We are not able to collect excess green waste from your green/brown bin or normal refuse but this can be taken to one of the household waste sites.
