Can you shout louder than a plane? Do you know how to play safe in the sun? Have you ever wondered how you contaminate a worktop?
Well, you can find out the answers to all of these questions and more at the Council's Environmental Health stand at the Bushey Carnival and Parade on Saturday 1 July.
The family fun day gets underway with the float parade, which leaves Bushey Heath at midday. Then from 1pm the carnival starts at Bushey Hall School, London Road, Bushey.
Yvette Statham, who works in Environmental Health, said: "The carnival is always really good fun and our stand always attracts a lot of attention because there is so much for young people to do.
"There will be various information and interactive stands with competitions and quizzes for everyone to take part in and learn about the environment in a fun way. One minute you could be using the noisatron to see how loud you can shout compared to an aeroplane, which you will get a certificate for. Next you could be playing our 'block buster' game to learn about sun safety or healthy issues."
Environmental Health will be providing interactive displays for children and visitors to the carnival. There will have quizzes and games on food safety, sun safety, noise pollution (see who can shout the loudest), pest control, energy awareness and the Dog Warden Service.
"There are prizes and goodies including pens, pencils and shoe bags to give away as prizes - so come and visit us!" adds Yvette.
Also at the carnival there are all the usual attractions including a funfair, a classic car show, a car boot sale, various charity and others stalls and sideshows, as well as 'scrappy races' in the main arena.
