New cafe and toilets

The new cafe and toilet building work is complete and the kitchen area will be finished shortly.  The council has appointed a local business to run the cafe which should be open later this year.

Green Flag Award winner  

In 2009, Aberford Park was the proud winner of a Green Flag Award for the second year running.  To find out more details on this award scheme please visit the Green Flag Award page.

Facilities

2008 also saw major work on the lake and repairs to the three fountains.  The reeds that were removed have been transplanted to the lakes at Oakmere Park in Potters Bar.

The park contains many attractions for all ages from three different play areas to a skatepark, a spiral mound and open parkland.  Learn more about Aberford Park.
