Habitat Workday

Fisher's Field Nature Reserve, Fisher's Close - Bushey
Join the Friends of Fisher's Field for a workday to create a variety of habitats for hibernating animals such as hedgehog boxes and stag bettle loggeries.  Light refreshments will be provided.

Poetry in the Park

From 12 noon - 1pm by the cafe
Come along and meet our very own Bushey poet, Alyson Torns, for a one-hour workshop.  Create your own text poem and send it to your friends!  Bring your mobile phone.  Pens and paper will be provided.  Aimed at ages 10+, families welcome.

Diabetes Walk in the Park

Come along and join in a walk to raise money for Diabetes UK.  All those that complete the walk will receive a medal.

Entries taken from 12 noon.
Both pedigree and novelty classes.  The Best in Show winner gets their photo taken with Hertsmere's Mayor and Mayoress.  Lots of goody bags to give away!

Join local wildlife expert, Simon Braidman, to discover the bats who inhabit Borehamwood's parks.
Please meet in Aberford Park car park at 8pm.  Bring a torch.

Guided Walk - Night Time Safari

From 7.30pm until 10pm
Join local wildlife expert, Simon Braidman, for a nightime safari around Borehamwood's parks.
Please meet in Aberford Park car park at 7.30pm.  Bring a torch.
