Grazing

The Council owns a very limited amount of grazing land that is let for grazing horses or cattle on 360 day grazing licences.

The sites the Council owns are all in the Potters Bar area.

Are there any vacancies?

No, there are no vacancies at present. If you would like to go on the waiting list for a site please contact us at estate.maintenance@hertsmere.gov.uk or by calling us on 020 8207 7486.

How much does it cost?

The licence fee depends on the size of the site and the facilities available. Detailed terms will be discussed with you when a site is offered.

How do I make payments?

We will invoice you for the licence fee usually every three or six months in advance depending on the fees agreed.
