You can either vote at your Polling Station or by post. When an election is called you will be sent a Poll Card which will state the date of the election and the Polling Station you should attend. You can request to vote by post any time up to 11 working days before an election. You can also request to vote by proxy at a particular election up to 6 working days before an election. If you wish to vote permanently by proxy it is necessary for your application to be officially countersigned. More information is given on the reverse of the application form below.
