A 'provider service' can be any organisation, agency, group of people or individual, which supplies a service in the community, home or hospital.
Social Services can arrange services to help you with daily living tasks and remain as independent as possible. When you contact Social Services or someone refers you (for example, your GP), Social Services staff will carry out an assessment.
Care in your own home is offered to people who require assistance by the County Council, it may be with personal care such as washing or dressing, or other practical daily tasks such as help with domestic chores like cooking and cleaning, or in some instances, help in managing your finances.
