The Ark Theatre, Borehamwood, offers a range of professional visiting drama, dance, music and comedy, complimented by work produced by the community for the community. It also provides an important platform for young people to perform, learn and develop in the performing arts.

Hertsmere Borough Council paid for the majority of the £2m project. The theatre opened in 2009.
