Welcome to Hertsmere Borough Council's Community Services team

Hertsmere Borough Council’s Community Services Team helps provide a diverse and exciting range of leisure and cultural activities that play a key role in improving the quality of life for local residents:

• For our youngest residents, we run various after school play clubs and holiday play schemes.
• Young people are offered diversionary activities through the Be There! Do It! programme, an initiative that involves the arts, dance and sports. 
• Finally, a comprehensive recreational programme for mature residents is delivered through our Fifty Plus programme.

We also support Borehamwood, Bushey and Potters Bar Museums to promote and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the area, as well as organise a range of local festivals throughout the parks in the borough.
