More than 20 children attended each day of an Arsenal Soccer School this Easter at Bournehall Primary School in Bushey.

The three-day scheme was organised by the council in partnership with Arsenal Football Club to give six to 13 year olds something to do in the school holidays.
Helen Botttomley, Community Sports Officer at Hertsmere Borough Council, said: "The aim of the scheme is to give children an opportunity to be active when they're off school and for them to learn and improve football skills.
"They took part in a mini tournament at the end of each day and medals were presented to the winning team on the last day. All of them got a photo of the Arsenal first team as a memento of their soccer school experience."
The next Arsenal soccer school will take place in the Borehamwood area in the summer holidays.
