Has your dog got the waggiest tail?

As part of the Bushey Festival, the Council's annual dog show will take place on Sunday 1st July 2007 at the council's green flag awarded park King George Recreation Ground, King George Avenue, Bushey.
Entries will be taken from 11am on the day and judging will take place from 12 noon.
There are 16 categories, five in the pedigree class and 11 in the novelty class. Categories in the pedigree class range from 'any variety puppy' (six to 12 months old) and 'any variety veteran' (over seven years old). Categories in the novelty class range from 'best rescue dog or bitch', 'dog with waggiest tail' to 'happy families' for two or more dogs living in the same household.
Wendy Bell who is from Bushey and specialises in dog behaviour will be judging the pedigree classes and Carol Copeland, a dog expert, will judge the novelty classes.
The entry fee is £1.50 per dog per category or £6 for more than six categories.
Goody bags will be given to all those that take part with rosettes presented to the winners. The 'Best in Show' will receive a free portrait of their dog courtesy of local artist Helen Cooksley.
The companion dog show will be held under Kennel Club rules and regulations and is in aid of Akita Rescue and Welfare UK.
The Deputy Mayor Councillor Sandra Parnell will be in attendance.
