New Junior Hockey Club in Hertsmere

Potters Bar and South Herts are joining forces.

If you are looking for something to do of an evening then a new hockey club could fit the bill. Potters Bar Hockey Club and South Herts Hockey Club have joined forces to start a new session every Thursday in Potters Bar for eight to 14 year olds.

 Helen Bottomley, Hertsmere Borough Council’s community sports officer, said:

 “This is great news for the area and adds to the many other sporting activities on offer throughout the borough.

 “Taking up a sport is a great way to meet new friends, have a good time, and learn new skills, as well as helping you to keep fit and healthy.”

If you are aged eight to 14 then come along to the sessions held at the astro pitch at Dame Alice Owens School, Potters Bar. All standards welcome.

First session on Thursday 25 September 2008 at 7pm and will be held weekly, same time, same place.
