You could be in with a chance to win £100 worth of shopping vouchers just by taking part in a short survey about Hertsmere's heritage.
Hertsmere's rich and varied heritage varies from artistic roots in Bushey through to film and television in Elstree, but how do you view the provision of heritage and how could access be improved for you?
The council has united with local history and heritage groups to form the Hertsmere Heritage Forum, which aims to celebrate the artistic and historic heritage of the borough and provide better facilities and services to access them.
David Whorlow, Cultural Services Officer, said: "We are undertaking research to find out what residents think of their local heritage, which includes our museums, as well as buildings, gardens, collections and local stories.
"From this, we plan to develop a Heritage Strategy for the borough, which will guide the future provision of heritage services for Hertsmere over the next three years. We want to find out what you think of the current heritage services and what you would like to see in the future."
Getting involved couldn't be easier. Look out for our postcards showing heritage scenes around the borough available from leisure centres, council offices and libraries, fill in the back and pop them in the post – for free! You will then be entered into the draw to win £100 vouchers. Or you can have your say at www.ablsurveys.com/hertsmere.htm before the 15th August. It will only take 10 to 15 minutes to complete the online questionnaire.
