Whether it is bowls and bridge or trampolining and tennis - Hertsmere Borough Council has them all on offer. The question is, are you taking advantage of them?

If the answer is no, then you are missing out on opportunities to make friends, keep active and discover a new interest or talent.

With a range of activities available, Hertsmere Borough Council has been developing and extending its services to suit a range of tastes and ages.

Paul Nanji, Sports and Cultural Services Manager, said: "We want to improve the quality of life for residents and are striving to ensure our activities are of the highest standard with the focus on everyone having fun, developing and learning new skills.

"New faces are welcome at all of our activities and our coaches, tutors and service managers will go out of their way to ensure that you will want to keep coming back."

Key activities and programmes include:

Paul continued: “It does not matter if you are six or 60, there is definitely something for everyone with the wide range of activities on offer.

"In many cases the Council works closely with the local community to deliver services and make a positive contribution to improving the quality of life for local residents.”
