Learn what's in Hertsmere's new Cultural Strategy
'Keep Smiling' is the appropriate name for Hertsmere's new Cultural Strategy which sets out a wide range of exciting initiatives for residents and visitors to enjoy. As well as developing new facilities such as a new community theatre the strategy aims to extend the range of cultural provision through our fantastic parks, leisure centres and natural open spaces.
'Keep Smiling' has been written and developed in partnership with a wide range of community groups including local museums, schools, Hertfordshire County Council libraries and Hertsmere Leisure Trust. Collectively the strategy sets out a three year plan to improve cultural and leisure provision for the whole community and in accordance with Hertsmere Borough Council's vision to:
"Take a leading role in improving the quality of life for everyone in Hertsmere"
So be it through our exciting play programme or through our extensive Fifty Plus initiative there is something for the whole community.
