Public meetings

A series of public meetings were held by the council in 2007 to give residents information on our responsibilities to identify site(s) for Travellers and Gypsies.

Meetings

Eight public meetings  were held across four locations in the borough to inform residents about meeting Government requirements for Gypsy and Traveller provision.

More than 1200 people came along to listen to information about this issue and share their views.
