Hertsmere Borough Council has to put together a plan of what development there should be, and where, in the Borough until 2027.
The Core Strategy DPD was submitted to the Secretary of State on 10 February 2012. Ms Mary Travers BA (Hons) DipTP MRTPI has been appointed as independent Inspector, and will determine whether the DPD is sound. To be sound, it should be justified, effective and consistent with national policy. The Inspector will consider the submitted DPD along with all representations made and supporting evidence, and will hold hearings as part of the Examination in Public (EiP).
