Planning committee cancelled

A planning committee meeting which was being held to consider housing development on land at Girtin Road, Munro Road and Gulland Close, Bushey has had to be cancelled.

The special meeting of the Bushey/Aldenham Planning Committee was due to be held on Wednesday 12 December at 8.15pm at the Bushey Country Club.

The meeting has been cancelled to allow for further consultation. Once the revised plans for the development are received by the council we will need to notify interested parties to allow them seven to 14 days to comment on them. The plans are expected to arrive at the council on Thursday 6 December, but the meeting on the 12 December has had to be cancelled as there still would not have been time for that two-week period of consultation to happen.

We are currently writing to interested parties to advise them of the cancellation. Because of the size of the development it does require careful consideration and we apologise for any inconvenience the cancellation may have caused anyone. Once a new date is set, our website will be updated.
