Following the endorsement from the Licensing Committee - Hertsmere Borough Council’s Licensing Department are now publishing their proposed Statement of Licensing Policy.
The current statement of Licensing Policy is for the period between 2017 - 2022 and the proposed statement of Licensing Policy is for the period between 2023 – 2028.
As per Section 5 of the Licensing Act 2003 - The Council are required by law to prepare and publish a Statement of Licensing every five years. A Statement of Licensing stipulates how we as the Council’s Licensing Authority will exercise our functions under the Licensing Act 2003.

As part of the consultation process, we would greatly appreciate any feedback from members of the public or from the local trade. As such, we have set up a questionnaire were you can provide us with feedback in regards to the draft Statement of Licensing Policy.
