In June this year, the nation will come together to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Realm and the Commonwealth.

National celebrations are to take place over the weekend of the 2 to 5 June 2022 and we want as many local residents as possible to be involved - whether that's to celebrate with your community group, organise a street party or take part in the Big Jubilee Lunch..

Funding up to £500 is available to local community groups and organisations to support events taking place on or around the national celebration weekend.

What can we spend the money on?

Funding can be used to support Jubilee related celebration events taking place on or around the 2 to 5 June 2022.  You could organise a special get together with your group or organisation, hold a street party or come up with your own way to bring people together and celebrate.  Visit the national Jubilee website for ideas on how you can join in.

All events must comply with any public health regulations in place at the time and any public events must have all the relevant permissions.  See the guidance notes for more information.
